Established in 1989, SIPA is the Nordic region’s most comprehensive specialist association for property professionals. Formed with a mission to unite property investors and professionals with interest in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Norway.
The aim is simple – to help the members with the knowledge and contacts needed to make attractive property investments in and across the Nordic countries. Through a diverse membership of industry professionals, through organised knowledge sharing events, through tailored seminars, and through inspirational city studies, SIPA provides the framework for a structured and rewarding approach to networking.

Being an association SIPA offers a unique network, combining the members’ outstanding knowledge of the Nordic property markets and the excellent experience from the members’ investments across the world.
The association is exclusive and only open to those that by their size or their activity can play an important role on the North European property markets.

SIPA at MIPIM with stand and discount
The SIPA stand at MIPIM provides members with a venue to meet other members, to host meetings with business connections or sip cocktails at the annual SIPA cocktail party. As a member of SIPA your company has an opportunity to advertise your business at the SIPA stand.
Members can buy up to three entrance tickets to MIPIM with a price discount of over 40%
An annual top level property conference
Every year in May, SIPA hosts a full-day conference in one of the Nordic capital cities. The focus will be on current subjects and have top-level international speakers and cases.
In addition to the members, relevant guests are invited to ensure that the day is of value in relation to networking and inspirational topics.
Members participate free of charge and included in the conference is a dinner and hotel accommodation for those coming from abroad.
SIPA City Tour
SIPA organise an annual tailored city tour to a major European city. The tour will provide inspiration, new business contacts s and insight information about property topics. Comprising a guided property city-tour, the two-day event offers the opportunity to hear from local developers whilst listening to moderated round-table discussions between leading professionals and potential business partners. All set in a schedule devised to give a solid insight into the local economic and political atmosphere.
Cities visited include for example Barcelona, Berlin, Warsaw, Dublin, Frankfurt, and London.
Members participate free of charge and included in the city tour is all activities and accommodation (though not flights to the destination).
SIPA Index
Providing best practice insights and CPD face value rental comparisons, the SIPA Index exemplifies the benefits of knowledge sharing by helping members ascertain real investment returns across the Nordic markets.
SIPA – Seminars and meetings
Ad hoc and by request is arranged shorter seminars or meetings where members will be able together to discuss and deal with business-related issues that may affect the development of the business.
SIPA is organized as an association. Once a year at the Annual General Meeting the members decide on next year’s activities and membership fee. The members also elect a board which during the year manage the association.
Day-to-day operations are managed by a CEO, who refers to the board.
